For all those ‘naysayers’ out there here is just one example where it’s never too late to re-invent yourself or start a new career. One of my clients, a 51-year-old women is starting her own law practice as a newly minted lawyer. While her children were growing up she went to law school part-time while continuing to work at her teaching job. Finding it extremely difficult to find a firm to do her articles, she persevered through a nasty situation and finally got called to the bar.
Realizing that it’s very unlikely another firm would hire her at her age, she going out on her own. In order to gain experience and knowledge of the law, she is focused on getting as much legal aid work as possible. And she’s getting it. What an inspiration. #lawyercoach
