Working with a client today that has been procrastinating on his assigned weekly homework. We got to the bottom of it. He has a fear of failure. While he loves to think and theorize concepts, he stops at implementation. This can be very common for highly intellectual people. I suggested to him that what he fears the most is actually occurring because the only real failure comes from in-action. So Nike! Just do it.
